“You cannot go it alone.” Managing in-house creative teams and creative expectations in the workplace requires vision, enthusiasm, clear communication,  and persistence. It can make a huge difference for in-house creative leaders to learn from each other along the way.

Leaders in creative services and those who aspire to move into leadership positions came together for the InSource In-House Perspectives 2019 event held on September 19, 2019, at the studios of Industrial Color at 32 Avenue of the Americas with stunning views of the New York City skyline.

Andy Brenits (President, InSource) welcomed everyone who attended the event in leading a rousing chant of “In House, In-House, In-House” and shared a few jokes (Q: “How many designers does it take to change a light bulb?” A: “Does there need to be a light bulb?”). Mathieu Champigny (CEO of CoCreativ) provided a brief overview of how Industrial Color companies help clients achieve their goals in offering a wide range of services including providing end-to-end digital commerce strategy, production, and post-production services to the digital commerce industry. Nathalie Heywood Smith (Director, Memberships, InSource) facilitated a lively question-and-answer session following three presentations by Peter Leeds (Executive Creative Director at Freeman), Ana Lucia Rosales-Boujnah (Vice President, Creative Services, Art + Objects, Sotheby’s), and Rena DeLevie (Chief Compassion Officer of Management For Millennials). InSource sponsors included Plum Creative Consulting, PaperSpecs, and Industrial Color, as well as Adobe, Brilliant, Dog and Pony Studios, and InMotionNow.
