Be A Thought Leader

InSource is now accepting submissions for articles.

Are you interested in becoming a thought leader in the community? Then let’s get your story out there where your peers can read it: on the InSource website. InSource as an organization is not the expert in leading in-house creative teams, you are. The collective knowledge and experience of our members are what makes our community so powerful.

InSource regularly publishes content from the field on our website because YOU are the one with the experience and insights our members want to hear about. We want to hear about your latest experiences, tips and tricks, and best practices as an in-house creative leader. Your original, previously unpublished piece should be about 400 words, and relevant to the in-house community.

The Perks

Why write and be seen by thousands of other in-house leaders? Because you want the recognition in the industry for the great work you and your teams are producing and you want to be seen by your peers in the market as a creative thought leader trailblazing through in-house challenges and turning them into opportunities.

In addition, if we select your piece to run online or in a print publication we will provide you with a complimentary Premium InSource membership for one year.

A New Publication Is On The Horizon

In addition to our website, InSource also produces printed publications. In the past, we published a series of 3 books on leadership (volume 3 came out late last year). This year we are working on a whole new publication in a magazine/journal format launching in the 4th quarter of 2018

The theme is: Empowering in-house teams to advance in their careers and skill-sets.

Moving our professional development forward for self and team isn’t always so clear. How have you moved forward in your career? What do you recommend for someone who feels stuck? What have you seen work well and not work so well?

Let us know if you would like to supply one of the following by July 27th, 2018.

  • Tip (theme based)
  • Article (topic based)
  • Case study (any successful in-house project that we can highlight)
  • Be interviewed/profiled (interviews are conducted by InSource Board members and can feature the in-house leader and their teams)

The Selection And Production Process

Here’s roughly how we pick content:

  1. We review your pitch received through email to info@in-source.org
  2. We reach out to you to learn more and/or suggest something we think our readers will want to read
  3. We set a publication date, so you can manage your time and send us a draft.

We have an excellent editorial team who can help you with copyediting of your piece.

Submit your article

Go ahead and email us at info@in-source.org with your article idea. Just pitch us a topic, and include a brief description. Don’t submit a completed article, since we’d hate to see you do all that work without knowing if we publish it.
