Andre Paquin
Andre is the President of InSource and is an independent design consultant with 30 years experience working for Fortune 100 companies and for some of the world’s most accomplished branding and corporate identity consultancies.
Andre was Director of Branding & Creative Services for Wells Fargo and has served as head of packaging design for the Planters LifeSavers division of RJR Nabisco, as Art Director for International Playtex and as packaging designer for General Foods Corporation (prior to the Kraft acquisition). He has also served as Director of Creative Services for Interbrand New York, and as General Manager and Creative Director for Interbrand’s Cincinnati office, providing packaging design services for Procter & Gamble. Andre has worked in consulting capacities for Enterprise IG, Siegel & Gale and FutureBrand. His current client list includes Siemens Corporation, Wolters Kluwer Health, Radian Group and Time Inc. Andre's business focus is in the area of branding, corporate identity, marketing communications and corporate innovation.
He is married with two children, a member of the Board of Directors for the Fairview Lake Camp of the Metro YMCA and an avid cyclist. He is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Communication Design.
Andrew R. Brenits
Andy, InSource Vice-President, established and currently manages the National Design, Proposal and Production Services (NDPPS) group in the Montvale N.J. offices of KPMG, one of the "Big Four" global accounting firms. His team of creative professionals design and produce many of the firm's communications pieces including internal and external newsletters, white papers, slip sheets, and proposals.
Andy's career began working for small studios in the Flatiron district of Manhattan, before moving to in-house positions at Banana Republic, Gap, and the National Football League. Prior to joining KPMG, he managed his own successful design consultancy for 8 years.
Andy holds a Masters Degree in Design Management from Pratt Institute in addition to his BFA in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts.
In addition to his professional design work, Andy also teaches Design Management in the graduate Communications Design program at Pratt Institute.
John Baker
John Baker is currently creative director for RCI Global Vacation Network. RCI is the world's largest vacation exchange network and among the world's largest global marketers of vacation rental properties. He transitioned in 2006 as creative director for Cendant Corporation and its brands which included Century 21, Coldwell Banker, Days Inn, Ramada, Cheap Tickets and Avis. Before Cendant, he has held other design and sales positions, mostly for small size firms like West Essex Graphics, Camares Communications and JS Mandle & Company.
Other than employment, John also serves as a board member for the Art Directors Club of New Jersey and is on their Education Council. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from C.W. Post, Long Island University in Greenvale, New York.
Steve Benfield
Steve Benfield is the Director of Marketing Creative at SAS Institute, the world's largest privately held software company in the world specializing in analytics-based enterprise performance management and business intelligence software. His award-winning copywriting and design team is responsible for the corporate brand, product collateral for print and Web, promotional creative, event and environmental creative, Web and interactive media design, corporate magazine design, print and online advertising, photography, and product UI and packaging. His team received the inaugural Stevie Award for Best Creative Organization at the 2003 American Business Awards ceremony in New York City. In 2006, his team received a second Stevie Award for the best mixed-media advertising campaign in the United States.
Before working at SAS, Steve was responsible for multimedia simulation and new opportunity research at Nortel Networks. He has more than 15 years of design experience and holds a BS from North Carolina State University.
Laurie Brammer
Laurie Brammer is Vice President/Marketing Communications Group for M&I (Marshall & Ilsley Corporation), a $64 billion financial services firm headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The corporation is the largest bank in Wisconsin with 193 offices and also has a presence in Florida, Indiana, Kansas City, Arizona, St. Louis and Minnesota. Laurie heads up the internal agency and is responsible for branding, advertising, direct mail, collateral, tradeshow support, sponsorships, media buying, merchandising, signage, and virtually all customer facing material for retail banking, commercial and business banking, wealth management as well as regional marketing initiatives.
Prior to joining M&I 2.5 years ago, Laurie was the General Manager of the Chicago office of Alexander Marketing Services, a business-to-business marketing firm where she managed clients such as Siemens Building Technologies and Juno Lighting Group. She was with Alexander Marketing for 15 years.
Having extensive experience at an external agency has helped Laurie as she now manages an internal team. While she's not a designer, she thoroughly enjoys the creative process and creating ideas that matter to customers.
She holds a bachelors degree in Public Relations from San Jose State University and a masters from Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee.
Kevin Kearns
Kevin Kearns, 38, is Creative Director for Duke University Health System located in Durham, North Carolina. Supported by a 27-person team of designers, writers and web developers, he directs the creation and maintenance of the brand identity for Duke Medicine, a health system made up of over 28,000 employees, three hospitals, hundreds of offices and clinics throughout the state as well as partnerships in Singapore and Dubai. His group develops integrated campaigns using the web, print, television, and direct mail, for a variety of clients within the health system.
He moved South after working at DDB Chicago for over 13 years, creating award-winning campaigns for Budweiser, Bud Light, McDonald’s, Discover Card, and Tyson Foods. In 2000, he was awarded a Lion at the International Cannes Advertising Festival for his work on Budweiser. His Bud Light work has aired on the Super Bowl and was named ‘one of the all-time greatest Super Bowl ads of the decade’ by CBS.
Kevin earned his B.F.A. from Miami University in Ohio and his master’s degree in Advertising Design from Syracuse University. He currently is a lecturer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill teaching art direction and integrated campaign development.
Joan Lamensdorf
Joan Lamensdorf was the Senior Creative Manager of the award winning Category Promotion Design Center at the Johnson & Johnson Group of Consumer Companies, a leading provider of consumer healthcare brands including Listerine, Sudafed, Benadryl, Lubriderm, Purell, Neosporin, and Rolaids. Joan started her J&J career at Pfizer Consumer Healthcare in 1997 and built the Design Center creative team that designs and produces the majority of consumer and trade promotions including FSIs, displays, POP and in-store programs, direct mail, brochures and promotion packaging.
Prior to joining J&J, Joan managed the Design Center for Nabisco Creative Services providing design solutions for top brands including Oreo, Chips Ahoy!, A1 Steak Sauce, and Grey Poupon. Joan began her career as a designer for Nabisco and Andersen Consulting.

Marty Lenger
Marty Lenger is the Creative Services Manager for Gordon Food Service, the largest family-owned broadline foodservice distributor in North America. Gordon Food Service also operates over 125 GFS Marketplace retail stores in the Midwestern United States.
While managing Creative Services’ operations, Marty also contributes as creative director for department projects including corporate and product branding, marketing collateral, advertising, event planning, and internal communications.
Marty’s career began at Gordon Food Service in 1996 as the ponytailed Graphic Design intern. After hiring on full-time, he remained at Gordon Food Service until 2000 when he became a Senior Graphic Designer for Family Christian Stores, America's leading specialty retailer with over 300 locations. Two years later he returned to Gordon Food Service to assume the Creative Services Manager position he now holds.
Marty earned his BFA degree with a Graphic Design emphasis from Grand Valley State University, and resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He enjoys photography, guitar, caffeine, and creative thinking.
Becky Livingston
Becky Livingston is an Associate Director of Communications in the Audit Learning and Development group at KPMG LLP.
Becky has 17 years’ marketing and communications experience, with a focus on internal communications and strategy. She joined KPMG seven years ago after serving as a communications manager in engineering and dot-com-related industries.
Becky brings a thorough understanding of the firm’s brand standards and compliance policies to the team. She is also the main contact for our communications and technology integration within the team and throughout the Audit curricula. Her primary focus is on the department’s change management endeavor as well as stakeholder communications.
Currently Becky recently completed a Corporate Training Certificate at New York University. In 2005, she completed her master’s degree in Information Systems with a concentration in e-Commerce from Pace University. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Marketing Communications from the State University of New York—Geneseo.
Becky is an active member of the American Management Association and is a Certified Toastmaster (CTM). She also teaches public speaking and graphic design courses locally, and volunteers her time with her dog, Abby, in the Therapy Dogs International Children Reading to Dogs program.
Bruce Rogers
Bruce is Creative Manager at J.H. Cohn LLP, the largest independent accounting and consulting firm in the Northeast, where he contributes his expertise to J.H. Cohn's branding initiatives, advertising, internal and external communications.
Before joining J.H. Cohn in 2006, Bruce was Manager of Creative Services at Atlantic Mutual Companies, where he oversaw a team of award-winning graphic and web designers. His responsibilities included: developing and managing Atlantic Mutual's advertising, internal and external communications, marketing collateral, multi-media and electronic forms. He also was responsible for the design and maintenance of the corporate internet and intranet sites. Bruce started at Atlantic Mutual Companies as their Graphic Design Supervisor.
Prior to joining Atlantic Mutual in 1994, Bruce was Creative Director for the Ormond Shops, Inc. in North Bergen, New Jersey, a national fashion retail chain with over 260 stores. At Ormond Bruce handled everything from in-store POP marketing and package design, to direct mail campaigns. Bruce started at Ormond in 1984 as a graphic designer.
Bruce received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the California College of the Arts in Oakland, California in 1984.
Barry Sanel
With over 24 years printing and packaging experience, as the Art director & Prepress Manager for CCL Label during the 90’s, Barry Sanel worked his way into the creative services department at Snapple Beverage Group, which was sold to Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages in late 2000. Starting as the packaging manager, working on the Mistic Iced Tea brand, Barry eventually lead the packaging strategic and execution direction of Stewart’s Root Beer, Orangina, Yoo-hoo Chocolate drink, Mott’s Apple Sauce & Juice, ReaLemon, IBC Root Beer, Orange Crush and Nantucket Nectars.
During his tenure at Cadbury Schweppes, he was responsible for hiring design agencies, giving design direction, budgeting, senior leadership briefing and printing execution for re-branding and product line strategy campaigns as well as ensuring compliance with all food labeling regulations, US & Canada.
After leaving CSAB, Barry formed Barry Sanel Packaging Advisors, a service company that works with design firms and CPG companies to efficiently manage and execute the design development & printing of packaging projects, packaging press approvals, qualitative and quantitative color, process review and alignment, and cost-saving opportunities. Emily Cohen
As a consultant to creative professionals for over 20 years, Emily Cohen provides confidential, experienced, and objective advice on effective staff, client and process management strategies, conducting client surveys and writing winning proposals, contracts and creative briefs.
She currently serves on the board of advisors of InSource, Worldstudio Foundation and on the AIGA In-House task force. Emily has also served as

Justin Knecht
Justin Knecht is currently Programme Manager at the Centre for Design Innovation in Ireland. The Centre for Design Innovation is the national centre of excellence for the research, understanding and promotion of the effective use of design and innovation. He recently developed the Innovation by Design programme, the first user-centred design programme to equip Irish organisations with the practical tools to innovate more successfully. Previous to this, Justin was Senior Manager of Creative Services for Crayola in the US, responsible for global branding, packaging development, POS and Internet services. He co-founded the web development firm AOV in Philadelphia; developing over 20 award-winning websites for a range of regional, national and international clients. He has worked as a freelance designer, writer, film editor, photographer, and has spoken internationally at a number of design conferences, companies and creative events including Design Flanders, SEEdesign, Design Management Europe, HOW, Hallmark Cards, DMI, Thinking Creatively Conference, Oracle, the Macromedia User Conference and the Allaire Developers Conference.
Martin Shova
Marty is the former President of InSource and has over 20 years of design and design management experience leading the internal creative teams for Nabisco and then for Kraft Foods as the Director, Global Creative Services.
